Next section >> Navigating the SNAB siteThe SNAB website has three common elements that help you to easily move around - the side navigation, the top navigation and the breadcrumb trail. The following outlines what you can find in each section, and the rest of the guide covers each section in detail. If you have trouble viewing any of the pages on screen you can view the page full-screen to make more room for the content. Either press the F11 key or choose View Full screen from the main menu of your browser to do this. Press F11 again to cancel and restore the tool bar.The side navigation sectionThe links in the left-hand column take you to the main administration sections in SNAB:
The top navigation sectionThe top navigation elements are contained in the dark blue stripe at the top. The 'Logged in as' message shows you how you are currently logged in, which is useful if you have access set up as an administrator, teacher and student. You can access the help file by clicking the Help button. The Logout button at the top right of the page logs you out of the system and returns you to the main log-in screen. The breadcrumb trailThe breadcrumb trail across the top of the main content area is a horizontal list of links that shows where you are in the SNAB system. This list changes as you move around the system and can be used to quickly access other relevant pages.
In the screen capture above, the user is currently on the Edit group details page. Clicking either of the two other links in the breadcrumb trail would take them to the Manage users or Home pages. Back to administrator index
